Graphic Design Studio II: Zine
For my final project for Graphic Design Studio II, I had to create a zine that explored the work of a graphic designer. My zine was about book designer Irma Boom.
My main concept for the cover was to create the illusion of a thick book. The zine that would be produced from this is very thin, and many of the books Boom created were very thick. I chose to reference this by including vertical lines along the sides to represent pages. I also stylized the inside cover to resemble the flysheet of the inside cover of a book and a book jacket.
